Dear Madam,

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Andrew.

I first meet him at the University as we were both members of the Labour Club.He was a great friend, always laughing and making jokes. He was a great socialist; always wanting to help those worse off than himself.

He was at every party, yet he worked hard for his degree too.

I missed him much when he went to work in Brussels. I will miss him more now he is gone forever.

Although, I ruly believe a part of him will be with me forever, for I will never forget him. I couldn't, even if I tried. He was too rivid, too intense. I can almost see his face before me as I write. I think it is smiling.

Yours sincerely and in sorrow,

Emily J. Firthy
